Warner and Marsh took the attack to towards the likes of Haris Rauf and Usama Mir which included a vary of strokemaking in the first-10 overs of the game.

However, when Rauf came to bowl in the ninth over, never in his wildest dreams the pacer would have imagined that he would have been hammered all across the ground. Warner smashed Rauf's 145kmph delivery for a six by playing his favourite lap shot.

Warner's six was a 98-metre hit that hit the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Moreover, his six is also the 2nd biggest maximum of this World Cup, only behind Shreyas Iyer's monstrous 101-metre six.

The duo put a massive 259-run partnership and is the second highest opening partnership in World Cup history after 282-run stand between Dilshan and Tharanga vs Zimbabwe in 2011.
