Johnnie And Peach

info_icon

Highballs are tall, refreshing drinks; often lengthened with a bubble of your choice be that soda, tonic or ginger ale and the likes. Served in narrow elongated glassware to trap the bubbles and keep your fizzy drink fresh for as long as possible.

Ingredients

45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label

15ml Peach Syrup

10ml Lime Juice

Soda Water to top up

Mint to garnish

Recipe

In a highball glass, pour in your spirit, syrup; lime juice and mix well.

Add ice till it peaks out of the glass and top with soda halfway.

Mix it gently and further add ice and top up with soda.

Agitate mint around the rim of your glass to release the aroma and dress with the garnish

Finish with 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters to lengthen the flavours further on your palate.

Tennessee Sour

This is our take on the New York Sour, which is one of the most popular cocktails. This cocktail is a perfect way to welcome the New Year, with all the complexities and flavours in one glass.

Recipe

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 – 60 ml

Lemon Juice – 10 ml

Maple Syrup – 10 ml

Egg white – 1

Red wine with floral and spice character – 15 Ml

?Method – Dry shaken

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker without ice and give it a dry shake. Then add ice and shake it well and into an old-fashioned glass. Layer red wine on top of it.

Garnish with fresh cherries

Tanqueray Jardin

info_icon

Gin and Tonics are best served in a “copa” glass: A more bulbous variation on your classic burgundy wine glass to bring the ice together and keep the temperature of the drink low whilst avoiding over diluting the drink with melting ice.

Ingredients

60ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin

A can of cold tonic water o Bitters + Botanicals of your choice

Recipe

In a copa glass, pour in your spirit, and add copious amounts of ice.

A healthy amount of ice ensures you do not add too much tonic water.

A smart ratio is 1:2 or 1:3 depending on your palate.

Our recommendation is no more than 120-150ml of Tonic to 60ml of spirit.

Lace with botanicals of your choice.

Grapefruit wedges elevate the crisp citrus notes of Tanqueray London Dry Gin

Rosemary + Star Anise, Green Chilli + Jasmine, Edible Flowers, Peach + Thyme are other combinations to experiment within your DIY G&T bar.

Finish with 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters to lengthen the flavours further on your palate.

Ciroc Martini

info_icon

Martini’s or Coupe style drinks are typically stirred or shaken and double strained into a chilled glass with no further ice. Which means the drink needs to be served in a limited capacity glass and ideally had in 3 sips to best enjoy the refreshing coolness of these drams.

Ingredients

60ml C?roc Snap Frost Vodka

7.5ml (one bar spoon) or 14ml (two bar spoons) of vermouth for a dry or wet Martini

Sweet Lime Peel

Recipe

In a stirring glass, add 60ml spirit and 7.5ml vermouth

Add ice and stir for 30seconds to release the aromatic compounds.

Pour into a chilled martini glass, and dress with a twist of freshly peeled sweet lemon.

Royalty Old Fashioned

Classic spirit forward cocktails such as the Old Fashioned often have strong aromatics in their preparation. A short whisky glass, with a large black of ice, not only helps reduce over dilution but also allows you to “nose” the aroma before every sip adding to the overall experience.

Ingredients

60ml Johnnie Walker Blue Label

20ml Star Anise and Cinnamon infused Honey Syrup

Bitters + Orange Peel

Recipe

In a stirring glass, add 60ml spirit and 20ml spiced honey and a couple of dashes of bitters.

Add ice and stir for 30seconds to release the aromatic compounds.

Pour over a large block of ice to avoid further dilution, in a smart old fashioned glass.

Twist a freshly cut orange peel over the drink and place it in.

Cheers!
