It's day seven of the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2024 in South Africa, and the two most successful teams, India and Australia are in action, taking on Ireland and Zimbabwe, respectively. (More Cricket News)

India U-19, the holders and five-time champions, have been asked to bat first at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein, by Ireland U-19 after losing the toss. Uday Saharan & Co. will secure a spot in the Super Six with a win today (January 25, 2024). India won their first game against Bangladesh by 84 runs.

At the toss, Saharan said that they would have batted first. India have made one change, bringing in Dhanush Gowda for the rested Raj Limbani.

The three-time champions started their campaign with a nervy six-wicket win over Namibia. As things stand, the boys from Down Under are second in Group C, behind Sri Lanka, who have won both their matches so far.

At the toss, Weibgen reckoned that the Diamond Oval pitch looks better from a batting perspective and it is a lot harder. They have made a couple of changes.

Zimbabwe lost to Sri Lanka in their rain-affected group opener by 39 runs (DLS method). Asked to chase a revised target of 129 in 22 overs, having previously dismissed Sri Lanka for 204 all out, could only score 89 runs in 21.1 overs.
