The 'mysterious bag' drama

As per media reports,the first incident revolved around?the bags that the delegates carried which raised?suspicion because of their unusual dimensions.The hotel staff were however told to clear them as they belonged to the category of diplomatic baggage.But a 12-hour-long drama initiated?when a staff member reported presence of? 'suspicious equipment' inside the bag.

As per the Times of India report, resistance came from the Chinese side when the hotel authorities wanted to pass the bag through the scanner to be certain of the content inside.The Indian security team did not yield to the resistance of the Chinese side. They stood outside the room where the suspicious object was found as the Chinese side deliberated what to do with the bag.

After a 12-hour-long dilemma, the bag was decided to be sent to the embassy.?The equipment remained a mystery as the bag moved to the embassy.

Delegates?refused hotel's internt connection

Besides the drama over the suspicious bags, the list of strange things also had the bizarre demand?of a private internet network by the Chinese delegation who refused to use?the?hotel's internet connection. Taj?Palace reportedly declined the request.
